The cyclists met the Governor H.E. Dr K.K.Paul  with Shri Tarun Vijay who highly appreciated the idea and blessed the students. The rally was dedicated to the memory of Dr Abdul Kalam.

Speaking to media Shri Tarun Vijay said that gradually the soldier's exalted position in society is being hurt by so called secular politicians who treat them at par with other professions. While a soldier's status is completely different from every other profession, he is a cut above all. To instil the feeling of respect and honour for our forces amongst the youngsters he has organised the Cycle rally with young students.
