Jammu, Nov 9 (PTI) All Party Hindu Coordination Committee (APHCC) today threatened to launch its second phase of agitation if the Jammu and Kashmir government failed to fulfill the six-point charter of demands before November 16. "APHCC held a meet with all of its constituent parties and deliberated upon the next phase of agitation as the government is yet to come out with a proposal of talks," a Committee member and All Party Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) chairman Vinod Pandit said here. "We have reminded the government that the deadline of one month is about to expire. If the government fails to honour its commitment made by senior Cabinet Minister R S Chib, the second phase of agitation will be will be resumed after November 16," he said. The six demands include passing of Temples and Shrines Bill in J-K Legislative Assembly, establishment of Shardha Peeth University, initiating dialogue with Pakistan for facilitating pilgrimage to Shardha Peeth in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Support was coming in from various quarters, Pandit said, adding that recently BJP MP and party spokesperson Tarun Vijay had supported their cause.
