The 800-year-old Kakatiya-era Ramappa temple has developed cracks thanks to the tunnel being dug merely 800 metres away for a lift irrigation project. Despite the Central Water Commission (CWC) denying permission for tunnels, the state has gone ahead with an eye on cutting project cost.
