Last week Shri Tarun Vijay visited the house of Smt Manju Mookerjee, grand daughter of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee and her husband Shri Biman Mookerjee in Pune with Shri Vikas Mathkari, President, Pune, BJP and paid respects to them. They are a very suave, peace loving couple keeping busy in social works like helping disabled children, through local Rotary Club. Smt. Mookerjee was 6 years old when her grand father, Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee offered his supreme sacrifice in Sheikh Abdullah's jail in Srinagar for the cause of India's integration. His death remains a mystery. Smt Manju Mookerjee has some sweet memories of those days and her picture in the lap of grand father Dr Mookerjee is proudly displayed in her house.
