Bharathi's Varanasi home must be declared national heritage site-Tarun Vijay

Floral Tributes paid to great revolutionary poet Subramaniam Bharathi in New Delhi

11th September 2014- New Delhi- Today  Tarun Vijay MP offered flowers at the statue of great revolutionary poet Subramaniam Bharathi in New Delhi as chief guest of Delhi Tamil Sangam. observing the Punya Tithi of great poet Bharathi, he said that the ideals of Bharathi are more relevant today . 

 Tarun Vijay was informed about the house of Bharathiyar in Varanasi where he had lived during studies.  Tarun Vijay assured that he will speak about it to the union Minister for culture and visits the house . He said that he will demand that government declares the house of Bharathi in Varanasi as national heritage and have it properly renovated and make permanent arrangements for its upkeep.

Breaking News-Mizo Buddhist Chakmas meet Minister of state for Home- SOS- save us from Christian Youth Organization's illegal headcount aimed at ousting us-- Kiren Sir assures quick action

A high level Mizo Chakma delegation led by BJP MP Shri Tarun Vijay met the Union Minister of State for Home Shri Kiren Rijiju to appeal save their existence from the brazen onslaught of christian Young Mizo Association Group who are indulged in illegal headcount of Buddhist Chakma people in remote villages. The headcount is aimed to finally have the residual Chakmas forced to leave Mizoram like they did it in the past. Shri suryadev Chakma, leader of the Chakma  group explained to Minister Shri Rijiju that unless the govern,end takes a stern action against these extremist groups the existence of the Chakma  Buddhists will be in range. Shri Tarun Vijay President of Solidarity with the Youth of NE (SYNE) said that the NE is facing multiple problems on account of insurgency and intolerance supported by alien forces. The govt must protect the human rights of the minority communities in the NE. The Minister Shri Kiren Rijiju assured immediate action to safeguard the Buddhist Chakmas of Mizorm and said that he is deeply concerned on the plight of these peaceful people.
